We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants for our Community and Nursing Home teams! As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Your expertise in medication administration and patient care will be essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services to those in need and will be compensated with high pay rates.

Key requirements:
- Right to work in the Republic of Ireland (Sponsorship NOT provided)
- Garda Vetting (one will be applied for upon application)
- Completed QQI/Fetac level 5 (minor) certificates
- Proof of Mandatory Training (If none, free training will be provided as part of the compliance process)
- 2 x References covering a minimum of 3 years
- A minimum of 6 months' experience of being a healthcare assistant in any nursing home or community setting (domiciliary care, private own homes, supported living)
- Driver’s license (with business insurance, if possible)

Experience in any of the following is desired but not essential:
- Care and Management of Enteral Feeding experience
- Spinal Injury experience
- Tracheostomy Care experience
- Stoma Care experience
- Epilepsy and Management of Emergency Medication Protocols
- Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilation experience, including Airway Management
- Acquired Brain Injuries experience
- End-of-life Care experience
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing emotional support to individuals and their families.
- Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care, to contribute to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Being motivated and recognising the importance of your role in supporting a client with complex care needs.
- Being willing and eager to complete addition training, upskill, coach and mentor yourself.Comfortably assisting clients with limited mobility.
- Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care, taking to appointments, etc.
- Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the individual.
- Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns.
- Accurate and timely record keeping and incident/accident reports.
- Able to work on a rolling rota basis and being part of a team of core carers/support workers around the individual, working collaboratively with the management team.
